Growing up, I worked in my uncle’s Italian deli in Bayonne, New Jersey, and other local delis. In 1994, I got a job in my field of computer science and climbed the corporate ladder and found myself stationed in Puerto Rico, then back in New Jersey, and then in Sacramento.
After nine years, my corporate job wasn’t fun anymore, and the company wanted me to move again. My wife and I loved the Sacramento area and wanted to stay. One thing we found lacking in the Sacramento area was (a real) Italian deli. A lot of places called themselves delis, but they’re really sandwich shops.
My wife Raquel suggested I leave my IT company and open a deli – and Dominick’s was born. All the dishes we serve here are from our family recipes! Come enjoy a “real” authentic Italian deli, pizza and specialities at Dominick’s.
